Our Livestock
We raise small numbers of hair sheep and meat goats to train our LGDs with. At times, we have additional animals for sale that are perfect for small-acreage farms or ranches looking for quality livestock.
Dorper x St. Croix Hair Sheep
Due to our location on the eastern side of the state of Texas, we must raise sheep that are parasite-resistant. The Dorper breed provides the size and muscling we prefer, while the St. Croix breed provides the parasite resistance we need for our livestock to survive in their environment.
Spanish Meat Goats
Our meat goat herd is mainly comprised of Spanish goat genetics with a slight influence of Boer goat. The Spanish genetics provides the parasite resistance we need in this part of Texas, while the slight Boer genetics in our goats provides some additional muscling.
